Blue Star Programme | Supporting Schools to Get Creative about Europe
As you may know, the Blue Star Programme teaches primary school pupils about European cultures, diversity and the EU through creative activities and projects which complement the national primary curriculum. The aim of the Programme is to foster better knowledge and understanding of the EU and how it affects our lives among Irish primary pupils through fun, creative classroom projects and activities. Primary schools carry out projects related to the History, Geography, Culture and Creativity, and Institutions of the EU. Over 1,300 schools have taken part since it was first launched in 2011. More information about the Programme can be found on the Blue Star Programme website.

Is é cuspóir Clár na Réalta Goirme tuiscint agus eolas níos fearr a chothú i measc daltaí bunscoile ar an difear a dhéanann an tAontas Eorpach dár saolta. Ba chóir do scoileanna Foirm Chlárúcháin, thíos, a líonadh isteach chun a bheith páirteach sa Chlár.

I have also included a recent tweet from the Blue Star Programme Twitter account and posts from our other social media accounts below that you can repost on your account as I know you all have a strong following of teachers and parents in your communities. Additionally, should you like to write your own post or include a mention of it in your newsletters, I have included some of the Blue Star Programme promotion graphics to this email. We greatly value your connection with schools, and your support in resharing these posts could make a real difference in helping the Programme reach more schools.
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to get in touch!
Best wishes,
Blue Star Programme Team
