Primary School Mental Health Promotion Officer
I wish to bring to your attention the appointment of a new position of Primary School Mental Health Promotion Officer at Mayo Mental Health Association.
Mayo MHA has been supporting the delivery of evidence-based programmes in post-primary schools in Mayo for more than a decade and has recently expanded their pioneering work into primary schools.
The appointed person is Rosemary Duffy, a primary teacher with 12 years of experience.
The purpose of this new role is to act as your contact in supporting your school in their wellbeing practices, through
· school support visits
· delivery of mental health and wellbeing programmes
· sharing of information and resources
Mayo MHA recently launched three mental health and wellbeing resource directories for primary schools:

· Teacher Directory of Anti-Bullying and Cyber Safety Resources
· Parent Directory of Mental Health and Wellbeing Resources
