MFL (SPANISH) UPSKILLING COURSE FOR PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS
I am writing to let you know that Teba Languages is running a Spanish Upskilling Course for Primary School teachers in April 2025. This is a unique opportunity to enhance Spanish proficiency, discover innovative teaching techniques for the primary classroom, and experience the vibrant culture and charm of Granada. Our week-long, Instituto Cervantes accredited course, will take place from Monday April 21st to Friday April 25th.
This course is specifically designed for primary school teachers who are introducing Spanish as a Modern Foreign Language to young learners. It offers a comprehensive approach by focusing on two key areas:

Language Proficiency Development
Teachers will enhance their Spanish conversational and instructional skills, equipping them to confidently communicate and teach in the classroom. The course emphasizes practical language use, tailored to the needs of primary education. -
Integrating Spanish Culture and Play-Based Learning
Participants will engage in two dynamic workshops designed to enhance their teaching of Spanish. The first workshop will explore creative methods to incorporate Spanish culture into lessons, making language learning engaging and meaningful for young learners. The second workshop will focus on play-based learning techniques, offering innovative strategies to introduce Spanish through games, activities, and interactive approaches that captivate children.
This dual focus ensures teachers will leave the course with the tools to deliver dynamic, culturally rich, and effective Spanish lessons in their primary classrooms. We take a maximum of 15 participants per group to ensure everyone is given the opportunity to reach their full potential and get the most out of the experience
The course costs €350 and includes:
- 20 Hours of Language Proficiency Development
- Workshop: Spanish Culture in the Primary School Classroom
- Workshop: Play-Based Language Learning Techniques
- Guided Tour of Granada City
- Course Completion Certificate
We can also offer full-board accommodation at Yugo, a modern student residence near our language school for €40pp per night for a single room with daily meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) catering to all tastes.
