Step Ahead Plus- Service Updates
Step Ahead Plus is our free, national vocational assessment and rehabilitation service. The Step Ahead Plus programme is open to adults (aged 16+) living with an acquired brain injury who want to return to work, training or education. We have been awarded five years of funding through The WorkAbility: Inclusive Pathways to Employment Programme which is co-financed by the EU Employment, Inclusion, Skills, and Training Programme (EIST) 2021-2027 and the Department of Social Protection (DSP).
We will be re-launching Step Ahead Plus through a series of online service update sessions in June 2024. Please see attached flyer with details regarding the sessions. These sessions are open to anyone who is interested in learning about our programme. This may include referrers, brain injury survivors who want to self-refer and employers who may have a staff member who could benefit from our service.
At these sessions, we will also be able to answer general questions about our service delivery.
If you would like to join one of our sessions, please fill out this MS teams form https://forms.office.com/e/bpDrYidPQi.
An MS teams link will be provided once you register.
In the meantime, you can email us with any queries or visit our website for further details https://www.abiireland.ie/our-services/what-we-do/step-ahead-programme/. Please note our website is under review so it does not have all the programme information available, it will be fully updated by June. If you have a specific query, please reach out directly.
