Research request - Women in STEM - Focus Group Invitation
I'm leading a research project at UCD on 'Women in STEM' and I understand, from speaking to teachers, that women can tend to move into teaching after they leave a career in engineering - as such I'm writing to kindly request your help reaching some of that cohort. The aim of our research is to improve experiences in the workplace for women and to ensure better gender equality in STEM, which I'm sure align with your goals for young students, at the point of entry into STEM subjects. We are organising focus groups with women who previously worked in engineering.
🗣 Focus Group invitation: Women in Engineering.
👭👭 Have you, or a female friend, previously worked in engineering? Why do women stay, and why do women leave, careers in engineering? With almost no research conducted on the Irish landscape, we are inviting women who previously worked, or still work, in engineering in Ireland to share their stories.
📝 If you would like to have your voice heard and impact policy and practice on female retention in engineering, please click the link to find out more and to sign-up: https://forms.gle/7ueinvN73uS78ERU6
Kind regards
