Inaugural Cuimsiú Fleadh competition Fleadh 11th May 2024
Mayo Comhaltas in collaboration with Áirc Mayo are delighted to present the Inaugural Cuimsiú Fleadh Competition for people with a disability/additional need. The Cuimsiú Fleadh Competition is an opportunity to develop participation and enjoyment of traditional Irish music arts for All in Mayo. This inaugural competition is learning for us all. The Cuimsiú Fleadh Competition will take place on Saturday 11th May 2024 in Westport. As this is the inaugural Cuimsiú competition, it is an opportunity for us to learn from this year’s competition and to build on its success. This year, the competition will be confined to Co. Mayo.
There are 4 Cuimsiú Competition age groups -: Under 12; 12-15; 15-18; Over 18 (Senior). An adult support person must accompany the competitor for the duration of the competitor's attendance at the Fleadh on Saturday 11.05.24 . Entries submitted by March 22nd, 2024, will be included in the Official Mayo Fleadh Programme Booklet 2024.
