STEM Teacher Internship (STInt) Programme - Summer roles for teachers
This globally unique initiative, which was started in 2016 by DCU, places teachers in a STEM role in industry for up to 12 weeks in the summer. These are paid, full time roles in some of Ireland's leading organisations. To date, STInt has placed 247 teachers in roles across 50+ organisations. You can learn more about the programme on our website. We attach a .pdf with some further information for you as well as a poster for your notice boards or to be forwarded to your teachers, for anyone who may be interested in applying. Applications will open in January, but interested candidates are encouraged to register their interest now to stay up to date on upcoming workshops, important dates and new roles as they become available. STInt is open to pre-service and recently graduated (up to 5 years) primary and post-primary teachers from DCU, UCD, TCD, UCD, MU, UL, UG and UCC, who have taken a STEM specialism subject with their education degree.
