Marathon Kids Primary Schools 2023 Programme Launched 

Mayo Sports Partnership invites Primary Schools across Mayo to register for the 8 week 2023 Marathon Kids programme. During the inaugural year of this hugely successful programme 850 children from 25 schools participated in the initiative which highlighted  in particular the benefits of physical activity. 

Come Join us on and programme ambassador former Irish Olympian David Gillick on the ‘Marathon Kids Journey 2023’.

             Starting 27th Feb 2023

“An 8 week programme targeting 5th & 6th Class students.

Students will take part in running sessions each week inching them closer to completing their first marathon as well as learning about the benefits of physical activity.”
