In this experiential training, facilitated by former teacher & Child & Adolescent Psychotherapist, Debbie Cullinane, Special Needs Assistants (SNAs) will gain practical skills and insights to help children in primary school manage their emotions and foster self-regulation.
This workshop explores proven techniques to identify emotional triggers, de-escalate challenging situations, and build a calm, supportive environment inside and outside the classroom.
Participants will leave with a toolkit of strategies to empower young learners, nurture resilience, and create a more positive, focused learning space.

Bio
Debbie Cullinane is a mother of 2, qualified child and adolescent psychotherapist, play therapist and runs her own private practice in Co Mayo. Debbie has over ten years teaching experience as a primary school teacher. She is Sensory partner with Smyths Toys Superstores. She is an experienced training facilitator & is passionate about empowering teachers, SNAs and parents. Debbie was named Network Mayo’s Emerging Businesswoman on the Year 2023.
