This course offers teachers a well-earned focus on personal wellbeing whilst gaining knowledge, skills and tools to implement wellbeing in the classroom. Facilitated by Dr. Ann Caulfield, it is rooted in information and practice related to mindfulness, wellbeing and positive living. It links with the strands of SPHE and offers online, home and outdoor activities to enable a well-balanced week-long experience that translates into classroom and school activity.
On registration, participants will receive a course handbook that can be printed off for use throughout the week.

Facilitator: Dr. Ann Caulfield is a recognised leader in the field of mindfulness for child and teacher care. She has taught mindful awareness practices to children and adults for over 30 years. Her research places a specific emphasis on teacher stress and how mindfulness practice impacts primary school teachers, both personally and professionally.
