Dr Trevor O'Brien is a lecturer in the Educational Psychology, Inclusive and Special Education Department in Mary Immaculate College, Limerick. He has many years' experience of teaching within the primary sector, and he brings this experience to his lecturing role within the College. Trevor's doctoral thesis focused on children’s perspectives of special education in the Irish context and his areas of research include the social construction of disability; learner voice; the inclusion debate, and CPD for both primary and post-primary teachers.
