This webinar is suitable for both teachers and special needs assistants.
Due to popular demand, this webinar is a follow up to session 1, but new attendees are welcome and will benefit greatly from the material covered. There will be further exploration of the benefits of sensory play and how it can be utilised in a classroom setting. There will be a more in-depth discussion on our eight sensory systems, with a focus on regulation, breathing techniques, movement and the development of sensory trays.
The tools and ideas discussed will be relevant and useful day to day in your classroom.
Facilitator: Debbie Cullinane is based in Claremorris. She is a qualified play therapist and is currently training to become a child & adolescent psychotherapist. She has over ten years teaching experience in primary schools and also runs therapeutic workshops for both parents and children.
