English is often described as a crazy language, but only by those who do not understand its story. In this webinar we will explore the Anglo Saxon, Norse, Latin and Greek layers of the language, and most importantly learn how they can help our students’ develop their spellings and vocabulary. We will also consider how this relates to the “Building an awareness of languages and cultures” element  of PLC with MFL. Practical samples and resources will be provided to support classroom instruction.
